- Self raising flour or Maida - 100 gm
- Sugar - 100 gm
- Eggs - 2 nos
- Vanilla Essence(A few drops) -
- Baking powder(optional) - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar for spreading -
- Strawberry or raspberry jam to spread -

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree C.
- Beat the eggs, sugar and essence, until fluffy.
- Slowly fold the flour into the mixture and mix it thoroughly without any lumps.
- Take a swiss roll tray or any flat tray and cover the tray with aluminium foil.
- Pour the mixture over the tray and spread it evenly.
- Bake it in the oven for 10 - 15 mins or until knife comes out clear.
- Take a butter paper and apply powdered sugar and spread it evenly.
- Invert the cake over the butter paper.
- Allow the cake to cool.
- Spread the jam over the cake and roll it gently.
- Cut it into pieces.
