Tamil Nadu Simple Curd Rice
Fast to cook Curd Rice - Ramya V
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 10 nos Seedless green grapes optional
- 1 tbsp Pomagranate seeds optional
- Salt As reqd
For garnishing:-
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 nos Red chillies Kollamulaku
- 2 nos Green chillies
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
- 1/4 tsp Bengal gram Kadalaparippu
- 1/2 tsp Ginger chopped
Instructions
- Mash rice and mix with curd and salt.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds followed by black gram, Bengal gram, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and red chillies.
- Add it to rice and mix well.
- Add grapes and pomagranate seeds.
