Ingredients
- Lady's finger(Vendakkai) - 250 gm
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
- Tomato(cut in small pieces) - 2 nos
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies(chopped) - 2 nos
- Onion(thinly sliced, big) - 1 no
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil - 4 tbsp

Instructions
- Wash lady fingers and pat dry.
- Cut the top & bottom of lady finger and slit them.
- Apply little salt and tumeric powder and keep for 5 mins.
- Heat oil in the pan or kadai.
- Fry the lady fingers keeping at low flame.
- Once lady finger is half cooked, remove from fire and keep in a plate.
- In the same pan or kadai, heat oil and splutter cumin seeds.
- Add onions and green chillies and saute, till they turn light brown.
- Add tomatoes and blend well for 2 - 3 mins.
- Add remaining turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder, salt and saute for 2 mins.
- Add lady finger to the masala.
- Cook on low flame, till bhindi is done stirring from time to time.
- Switch off the flame and pour curd.
- Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
- :- Serve with rice or chappathis.
