  • Wash lady fingers and pat dry.
  • Cut the top & bottom of lady finger and slit them.
  • Apply little salt and tumeric powder and keep for 5 mins.
  • Heat oil in the pan or kadai.
  • Fry the lady fingers keeping at low flame.
  • Once lady finger is half cooked, remove from fire and keep in a plate.
  • In the same pan or kadai, heat oil and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add onions and green chillies and saute, till they turn light brown.
  • Add tomatoes and blend well for 2 - 3 mins.
  • Add remaining turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder, salt and saute for 2 mins.
  • Add lady finger to the masala.
  • Cook on low flame, till bhindi is done stirring from time to time.
  • Switch off the flame and pour curd.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  • :- Serve with rice or chappathis.
