Ingredients
- Cooked rice - 2 cups
- Curd - 3 -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 3/4 tsp
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Ginger(chopped) - 1 tsp
- Green chillies(chopped) - 1 tsp
- Red chilly(Kollamulaku) - 1 no

Instructions
- Mash the rice nicely.
- Add salt to curd and beat it well.
- Pour the curd to the mashed rice and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Splutter mustard seeds followed by black gram, curry leaves and red chilly.
- Add ginger and green chillies and stir for a few secs.
- Pour the above into the rice and mix well.
- :- The seasoning should not be very hot since there are chances to curdle.
