Children's favorite dish.It contains no oil content.This dish is enriched with calcium of milk Sweet Recipes. Thiratu pal is a traditional sweet recipe made with milk. Thiratu paal is also called Theratti pal in some places. Thiratu Paal / Thirati paal. It is a traditional south indian sweet. Very simple ingredients and needs some patience to prepare.

  • 1 liter Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Jaggerry
  • 2 tbsp Ghee optional but i used to enhance taste
  • 2 tbsp Nuts mixed like cashew, pistachio, almond
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder


  • In heavy bottom pan add milk and bring to boil
  • In a mean time add jaggerry and little water make dissolve and strain and keep aside
  • Now when milk comes to half add sugar and syrup and mix well
  • Now boil again stir when ever needed and you can see pic its like condensed milk consistency and boil more time to reach that thiratu paal consistency
  • Now add cardamom powder and nuts and ghee (optional)
  • Now we got the Thirattu paal consistency now we can turn off and keep aside to cool for 30 mins
  • Now its ready to serve Thirattu paal is ready to serve
