Tomato Curry

The curry is delicious and goes well with freshly cooked rice or flat bread. when there are no veggies in the kitchen, i prepare this vegan tomato curry along with steamed rice

  • Tomato 15 no.
  • small onion 15 no.
  • red chili 2 no.
  • green chili 2 no.
  • cinnamon 2 small piece
  • clove 4 no.
  • bay leaf 1 no


  • chop the tomato
  • chop the onion, green chili and red chili,
  • heat the oil and temper the bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, aniseed
  • add onion, red chili and green chili and saute it for 3 mins
  • add ginger garlic paste and turmeric and mix it
  • add tomato and mix well
  • add coriander and mint leaves and mix well
  • add salt and red chili powder and mix it and allow to cook for 15 mins
  • add one glass of water and mix it
  • allow to cook until it becomes thick consistency like a curry
  • now tomato curry is ready to serve. serve with hot rice
