Ingredients
- Rice(not basmati) - 2 1/2 cups
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1 cup
- Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1 no
- Green chillies - 2 nos
- Tomatoes - 2 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 1/2 tsp

Instructions
- Soak rice, black gram dal and Bengal gram dal separately for 4 hours.
- Grind them together by adding water till it becomes a very fine paste. (Batter should not be very thick)
- Add salt and keep the batter overnight.
- Add turmeric powder, chopped onions, green chillies and finely cut tomatoes into the batter.
- Prepare dosas the usual way.
- :- Serve hot with chutney.

Very Good but this recipe is Uttappam not tomato omelette. Tomato omelette is actually made with besan.
