Traditional Mambazha Pulisheri - Vishu Special

Green chillies
chopped

Cumin powder
roasted and powdered

Curd

cups
Coconut
milk

tsp
Turmeric powder
1/2
tsp
Chilly powder
1
tsp
Mustard
1
tsp
Fenugreek seeds
Uluva
Coconut oil
As reqd

Dry
red chillies
Curry leaves
Few

Sugar
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing traditional mambazha pulisheri, fist roughly chop the mangoes.
In a deep bottomed pan, add mangoes,
green chillies
,
cumin powder
,
turmeric powder
, chilly powder,
sugar
,
salt
and little
water
.
Cook the mangoes till it becomes soft and mashed.
Now add the
coconut
milk
. Remove from flame before it starts to boil.
Allow it to cool.
Add curd and mix well.
In another pan, add
coconut oil
and heat.
Splutter
mustard seeds
,
fenugreek seeds
,
red chillies
and
curry leaves
.
Pour this over the curry.
Traditional mambazha pulisheri - vishu special, a yummy curry is ready.
