  • 1 cup Tuna drained and flaked
  • 1 cup Cheese Cheddar cheese preferred, grated
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 no Egg
  • 1 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/2 of Tomato finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilly powder optional
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder Jeerakam
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp Tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil/Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • Cheese For garnishing, grated


  • In a bowl mix flour, milk, eggs, pepper, chilly powder, baking powder, salt, olive oil and tomato.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Mix tuna, chopped coriander and grated cheese.
  • Preheat oven to 180c. Grease a medium wide loaf pan. Pour tuna mix into the pan. Level the top and bake for 40 minutes.
  • Keep watch at intervals. If the top browns quickly, cover with aluminium foil.
  • When baked, remove from oven. Grate cheese over the bread. Slice and serve with tomato sauce.
