Plantain flower( Vazhaipoo) is a healthy one for all. Women are suggested to intake Vazhaipoo once a week.. Vazhaipoo is mainly famous for vazhaipoo vadai in tamil nadu. I have tried vazhaipoo biriyani and it turned out very tasty. You can also try and enjoy it!!!

Ingredients
- plantain flower cleaned and stamen removed - 2 cup
- any rice 1 cup -
- onion 2 no. -
- Tomato : 1 no -
- green chili 4 no. -
- mint and coriander leaves 1 handful -
- curry masala powder 3 tsp -
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp -
- aniseed 2 no. -
- Bay leaf 2 no. -
- cinnamon small piece -
- clove 2 no. -
- Cardamom 2 no. -
- ghee 1 tbsp -
- Oil : 3 tbsp -

Instructions
- clean and wash the vazhaipoo
- add sliced onion and green chili and saute it for 3 mins until it turn into golden brown
- add chopped tomato and mix well
- add mint leaves and coriander leaves and mix it
- add vazhaipoo and mix it
- add curry masala powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well
- add required water for rice into ratio of 2: 1 and allow to boil
- once the water get boiled add rice, mix it and allow for 1 whistle
- now vazhaipoo briyani is ready to serve
