Vellarikka Kichadi

Vellarikka Kichadi is a tasty and mildly spiced cucumber side dish that goes very well with hot steaming rice. With its tangy mild flavor, Vellarikka Kichadi is a cool comforting dish. The dish is unique and special with cooked cucumber pieces tossed with coconut mixture and dipped in creamy curd. This is a Sadhya special dish very prevalent during Onam celebrations. The dish is relished along with other vegetarian delicacies served for a Sadhya. Curd is nutritious and good for cooling the body especially in summer. This is one of the easiest of dishes that can be prepared in a jiffy when time is short. You can explore the nutritious dish here, well detailed in short meaningful sentences.
