Vendakka Kichadi Easy Lady`s finger(Vendakka) kichadi - Vendakka Kichadi Easy 250 gm Lady`s finger (cut into small roundels, Vendakka)Grated coconut (A handful)6 nos Green chillies (finely chop 4 chillies)1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)1/2 tsp Mustard seeds1 1/2 cups CurdFor seasoning:-3 tbsp Coconut oil1 tsp Mustard seedsCurry leaves (A few)1 - Dry red chillies (broken into two, Kollamulaku) Grind together coconut, 2 green chillies and cumin seeds into a fine paste.Add crushed mustard seeds into the above coconut paste.:- Make sure you don`t crush the mustard seeds too much as it would make the dish taste bitter.Beat the curd well.Mix together the beaten curd, ground paste and salt.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Splutter mustard seeds and saute red chillies and curry leaves.Add the remaining chopped green chillies and lady`s finger.Fry them till they turn golden brown.Add the curd mixture and heat it through.Remove from the flame.:- Serve with rice.
