- Mutton - 1 kg
- Onion - 2 large
- Tomato - 3
- Shallots - 1 cup,chopped
- Ginger(small piece,chopped) -
- garlic - 1 clove,chopped
- Potato - 2
- Coriander powder - 2 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek seed - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seed - 1 tsp
- Pepper corn - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom - 2
- Cinnamon stick(small piece) -
- Coriander leaves(little) -
- Curry leaves(little) -
- Salt(to taste) -
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Water - 1 cup

- Clean and wash the mutton.
- Cut the veggies and keep aside
- Grind pepper corn,cumin seed,cinnamon stick,cardamom,clove in a mixer grinder to form a fine powder.
- Add shallots and onion,saute until it is light brown in colour.
- Add coriander powder and saute for 3-4 minutes.
- Add tomato,potato,garam masala
- Add mutton,turmeric powder,salt,coriander leaves,curry leaves,water as required and cook until 5-6 whistles or until done.
- Village style mutton curry is ready to serve.
