It is the presence of mint leaves that makes the drink unique and special. I fell in love with Watermelon Lime Mint Cooler at my friend’s place. My dear friend handed me the recipe. I tried at home and it was a grand success. I do not have words to describe it. ‘Heavenly’ is the word I will describe. My family and kids fell in love with the drink and keep on pestering me every day for the drink.

While preparing Watermelon Lime Mint Cooler, I got a few vital points that should be observed. Go for fresh mint leaves and avoid all blackish ones that has been kept refrigerated for longer period. Fresh mint is flavorful and smells good. Also use fresh lemons for the drink. Regarding nutrition, all I have to say is that this is a super drink having four mighty ones – watermelon, lemon , mint and ginger. Lemon is widely known for its Vitamin C content. Mint is flavorful and is rich in many vital nutrients especially Vitamin A and antioxidants. The unique flavor and fragrance of ginger come from its natural oils, the most important one termed ‘gingerol’ which is responsible for its medicinal properties.
