Aloo Stuffed Mirchi Vada is a very north Indian style starer. This super delicious Indian snack is perfect for a cool fall / winter evening. A yummy potato masala stuffed inside banana peppers, dipped in a gram flour batter and deep fried until golden brown.

  • 5 Long mirchi
  • 2 boiled Aloo
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • ½ tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Asafeotida
  • ½ cup Besan flour
  • ¼ cup Rice flour
  • Oil for frying


  • In pan heat oil and sauté onion
  • Now add red chili powder ½ , salt and turmeric ¼ tsp sauté
  • Now add mashed potato and mix well and allow to cool
  • In bowl add besan, rice flour and red chili, salt, asafeotida, turmeric and mix well
  • Stuff aloo in mirchi and keep aside
  • Now add little water make baji batter like dosa batter and dip stuffed mirchi
  • Now heat oil in pan and fry all mirchi and drain out
  • Now its ready to serve Aloo Stuffed Mirchi Vada.
