  • 1/4 kg Avarakka (Broad Beans)
  • 1/4 cup Moong dal soaked
  • 1 no Onion Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Coconut grated grated
  • 1 tbsp Sambhar chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp termeric
  • 1 tsp Salt can adjust as per taste
  • 1 tsp mustard and urad da for temper
  • 1 tbsp Oil


  • Wash avarakkai and chop as you need size
  • No heat pan add oil temper mustard and urad dal
  • Now add chopped onion saute well
  • Now add soaked moong dal and mix well with little salt to cook fast
  • Now add avarakka saute well
  • Now add all powder items and mixx well
  • Now add little water and cook until the dal smash little
  • Now add coconut and mix well turn off the flame
