  • 3 cups Basen Kadala mavu
  • 100 g Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder Elakka
  • 1 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • Cashew nuts fried


  • For preparing besan ladoo, roast the basen in a thick bottomed vessel.
  • Let the roasted basen cool.
  • Add powdered sugar, cashew nuts and cardamom to the roasted basen and mix well.
  • Add hot ghee to the mixture. Mix well and make small balls out of the mixture.
  • Basen ladoo is ready. Serve hot.
