Batata (Potato) Palya Tasty curry served with dosa 2 nos Potatoes1 no Onion1/2 cup PeasSalt (As reqd)Sugar (A pinch)1 tsp Lime juiceCoriander leaves for garnishingGrated coconut for garnishingFor seasoning: 3 tbsp Oil1 tsp Mustard seeds2 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)1 tsp Turmeric powderCurry leaves1 no Red chilly (Kollamulaku)2 nos Green chillies Cut onions and green chillies into long, thin pieces. Cook potatoes, peel and mash coarsely. Heat oil in a frying pan.Add all the ingredients for seasoning one by one. When it splutters, add onions. Fry till it becomes translucent.Add peas and fry for few minutes. Add mashed potatoes to it. Add salt, sugar and lime juice. Mix well. Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves. :- Serve with hot Dosas. Kerala
