Beef Fry - Chinese American Style My own version of beef fry 500 gm Beef strips1 no Capsicum (large)2 nos Carrots (medium)4 buttons Mushrooms (white preferred)Oil (not too much as excess makes the dish oily)For marination:-1 tsp Garlic paste2 tbsp Soya sauce2 tbsp Chilie sauce2 tbsp Barbecue sauce2 tbsp Lemon juice2 tbsp Steak sauce Marinate beef strips with the marination ingredients and keep overnight.Saute mushrooms and carrots.When they are cooked, add capsicum and saute a further minute.Set this aside, make sure that the carrots, mushrooms and capsicum still retain thier colour as this makes the dish look colourful.Saute the marinated beef strips in the same oil till beef is cooked, keep the flame on low so as to avoid burning and discolouring.:- Serve on a platter and top with stir fried vegetables.:- I prefer to serve this with white rice.
