Bread Upma - An Evening Snack Upma made with bread 6 nos Bread slices1 cup Yoghurt2 nos Tomato (finely chopped)2 nos Onions (finely chopped)1 no Carrot (finely chopped)1/2 cup Peas1 tsp Mustard seeds1 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)1/2 tsp Cumin seeds2 tsp Salt2 tsp Chilly powder4 tsp OilCurry leaves (A few)Coriander leaves for garnishing Soak the bread slices in yoghurt for 10 mins.Remove the bread from the yoghurt and cut them into pieces.Cut onion, tomatoes and carrot into small pieces.Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds and black gram.Add curry leaves and chopped onion and saute till the raw smell of the onion leaves.Add tomatoes and carrot and fry for sometime.Add the bread pieces followed by salt and chilly powder.Mix well.Garnish with coriander leaves.
