Pudhina Rice Mint(Pudhina) Rice 3 cups Rice1 cup Pudhina (Mint leaves)1 cup Coriander leavesGinger (A piece)2 nos Onion (medium)2 nos Carrots1 cup Peas1 cup Beans2 nos Green chillies2 nos Tomato (medium)2 tsp Oil1/2 spoon Mustard seeds and Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)2 tsp Salt Grind together pudhina, cilantro, ginger and green chillies.Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds and fry black gram. Add onions and saute till the raw smell of onion goes.Add tomato, carrot, peas and beans.Add the grinded mixture with it and fry till the raw smell is gone.Add salt and mix well. :- If necessary, add sugar according to your wish.Wash the rice and then add 5 glass of water and add the mixture.Keep it in the pressure cooker. Wait for 4 whistles and then after some time take the rice and mix it well. :- Serve hot with raita or papad. Tamil
instead of adding vegetables we can also add boiled channa.also u can add coriander,red chilles&tuvaram paruppu along with the paste.
