Powdered cashew/kaju barfi, a popular after dinner dessert for kids as well as elders, is prepared by mixing powdered cashew nuts, milk powder and other ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Cashew nuts/Kaju ground to a fine powder
  • 2 tbsp Milk powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar powdered
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Elakka
  • Milk Little
  • 1/2 tbsp Ghee


  • For preparing cashew/kaju barfi, mix together ground cashew nuts, milk powder, sugar, cardamom, milk and ghee. combine well using hand.
  • Spread the dough in a smooth surface and cut into diamonds.
  • Bake the cashew burfi in an oven till top turns golden brown in color.
  • Cashew/kaju burfi, a popular North Indian after dinner dessert, is ready. Enjoy.
