- Prawns(shelled) - 100 g
- Raw mango(thinly sliced) - 1/2 of
- Coconut(grated) - 1/4 of
- Shallots(chopped, Kunjulli) - 2 tbsp
- Green chillies(sliced) - 2 nos
- Onion(thinly sliced) - 1 no
- Ginger(chopped) - 1 cm
- garlic(crushed) - 4 flakes
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Aniseed(Perum jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek(Uluva) - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tp
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing the delicious dish, first De-vein the prawns and wash properly.
- Add shallots and aniseed to this. Roast until golden brown in color and remove from fire.
- Grind to a smooth paste and keep aside.
- Take a pan and fry the sliced onions until golden. Add green chillies, garlic and ginger. Fry for a few seconds.
- Add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and mango pieces.
- Take a pan and pour oil. Splutter mustard seeds, fenugreek and curry leaves and add this to the curry.
- Yummy chemmeen curry is ready and serve hot with rice.
