1/2 cup Prawn (cooked with salt, pepper and turmeric powder)3 nos Onion (sliced)1/2 tsp Garlic paste3/4 tsp Chilly powder1/2 tsp Ginger paste2 cups Tamarind leaves1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1/2 cup WaterSalt (As reqd)6 tbsp Oil For preparing chemmeen puli, fry onion in oil.Add the ingredients garlic paste, chilly powder, ginger paste and turmeric powder. Fry again.Add water to it and cook the onion.Add tamarind leaves and fry again.Add prawns and required salt. Cook well and remove from flame.Chemmeen puli is ready.
