Ingredients
- Chicken - 2 kg
- Onion(sliced, big) - 2 nos
- Ginger - 1 1/2 inch
- Garlic pods - 6 nos
- Green chillies - 3 -
- Whole pepper - 1 tbsp
- Cloves(Grambu) - 3 -
- Cinnamon sticks(Karugapatta) - 3 -
- Fennel seeds(Perinjerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Ripe medium tomatoes - 2 nos
- Coconut(grated or cut) - 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Heat 1 spoon of oil in a pan.
- Once it cools, grind the mixture to a fine paste.
- Pour oil in a pressure cooker.
- Add half sliced onion and saute.
- When it turns light brown, add the ground masala.
- Cook the masala till it turns dry.
- Add the coriander and turmeric powder.
- Pressure cook it.
- :- If the gravy is not thick, boil it for some time.
- :- Serve hot with rice or chapathi.
