  • 100 gms Chicken mince
  • 2 tbsp Carrots chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Herbs chopped, rosemary or cilantro
  • 1/2 piece Onion chopped, medium size
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp Green chilly de-seeded and chopped
  • 2 tbsp Celery chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 4 thick White bread
  • 1 no Egg whisked
  • 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
  • Biscuit cutter round shape or any other
  • Oil for deep frying.


  • Wash the chicken mince and leave to drain and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions, garlic and chilly and sautT till translucent.
  • Add chicken and stir fry till the colour of the flesh changes to white. :- The pan should be sufficiently hot so that the chicken will not cook in its own stew.
  • Season with salt and add celery. Stir till well combined and the chicken is cooked.
  • Add fresh herbs and stir well.
  • Remove from the stove and leave to cool.
  • Use the biscuit cutter and cut rounds from the bread.
  • Pile the chicken mixture on top of the rounds.
  • Press down firmly, removing bits that stray from the rounds.
  • Lay the coins face down on sesame seeds, dip it beaten eggs and then in bread crumbs.
  • Leave to chill in the refrigerator.
  • Deep fry the coins in heated oil till golden brown.
  • :- Chicken Sesame Coin is ready!! :- Serve Chicken Sesame Coin hot with any sauce. :- Enjoy eating Chicken Sesame Coin!!
