Ingredients
- Chicken(skinless and cut into medium pieces) - 1 kg
- Red onions(large, sliced) - 3 nos
- Tomatoes(large, diced) - 3 nos
- Curry leaves(A sprig) -
- Green chillies(slit) - 4 nos
- Tomato Ketchup - 4 tbsp
- Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -
For marinating chicken:
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 to
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Chicken Masala powder - 2 tbsp
- Ginger(garlic paste – 1 tbsp) -
- Lemon juice(Of 2 lemons) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Wash and clean the chicken thoroughly. Soak it in water with 1 tbsp lemon juice for 5 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
- Make a marinate using the above ingredients and apply it on the chicken pieces. Keep it in the refrigerator for one hour(its very important).
- Remove the fried chicken pieces from oil and keep aside.
- Add sliced onions to the same oil and saute well.
- Add slit green chillies, tomatoes, curry leaves and continue sauteing until the tomatoes have been cooked.
- When the onions begin to brown, add the fried chicken pieces and mix well.
- :- serve with rice or roti. If you don`t like the taste of sauce just add one more tomato instead.
