Cream Of Tomato Soup Easy Cream of tomato soup 4 tbsp Butter2 tbsp All purpose flour (Maida)600 gms Tomatoes (sliced)2 cups Milk2 nos Small onions (chopped)1 tsp Salt4 nos Bay leaves (Karuka ela)Black Pepper Powder (As reqd)4 nos Pepper Corn (Gol Mirch)4 tbsp Cream4 cups *Vegetable StockParsley Leaves (A few, chopped)For making veg stock:-1 no Onion1 no Carrot1/2 cup Cabbage (optional)7 cups Water1/2 tsp Ginger (chopped)1 no Potato1/2 tsp Garlic (chopped)4-5 nos French beans1/2 tsp Salt For making white sauce: 1)Heat half of the butter, adding the flour and cooking for a minute while stirring till it turns slightly pink.Slowly add the milk.Boil again while stirring continuously till it becomes thick and smooth.Add salt and pepper powder.For making the soup: 1)Heat half of the butter in a pan.Add the chopped onions and tomatoes along with bay leaves and gol-mirch.Fry while stirring for 2-3 minutes.Add stock and simmer for about 30 minutes until done.Allow it to cool and liquidize in a blender and strain.Add slowly to the white sauce while stirring.Boil again while serving.Garnish with cream and parsley leaves.
