Ingredients
- Duck - 1 kg
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Onions(sliced) - 1/2 cup
- Ginger(sliced) - 2 tsp
- Garlic pods - 18 nos
- Green chillies(slit) - 6 nos
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 2 pieces
- Cloves(Grambu) - 6 nos
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 4 nos
- Thick coconut milk - 1 cup
- Grated Coconut - 2 cups
- Thin coconut milk - 3 cups
- Potatoes(quartered) - 4 nos
For seasoning:
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Ghee - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Onion(sliced) - 2 tsp
- Curry leaves(A few) -

Instructions
- Grind together coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cinnamom pieces, cloves and cardamom pods to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- SautT onions and add ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Add ground masala followed by duck pieces, vinegar and salt.
- Cover the pan with a deep lid containing water.
- Add the potatoes when the meat is almost done.
- Add mustard seeds and when they crackle, add onions and curry leaves.
- Pour this into the duck curry.
- :- Serve Duck Curry hot.
