Fennel seeds
powdered, Perinjeerakam

Green chillies

Pepper powder

Chilly powder

tbsp
Coriander powder
1/4
tsp
Turmeric powder
Coconut
milk
Of half a
coconut
Curry leaves
Few

As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing fish masala in
coconut
milk
, first heat
oil
in a pan and fry sliced onions.
Add crushed
garlic
,
green chillies
,
curry leaves
and saute for a few seconds.
Add
turmeric powder
, chilly powder,
coriander powder
,
fennel seed
powder and fry in low flame.
When a frying smell comes, add chopped tomatoes and fry well.
Add 1 cup
water
and required
salt
. Bring the fish curry to a boil and add the fish pieces.
Cook in low flame with a covered lid till the fish pieces are done.
When the gravy has acquired a thick consistency, add
pepper powder
and
coconut
milk
.
Stir slowly and heat in low heat. Remove the vessel from flame before boiling starts.
Fish masala in
coconut
milk
, a yummy recipe, is ready.
