250 g Meat (minced)2 nos Eggplant/Brinjal (big ones)1/2 cup Onions (minced)1/4 tsp Ginger (minced)1/4 cup Tomatoes (minced)1/4 tsp Pepper powder1 no Egg1 dsp All purpose flour (Maida)3/4 cup Milk1 dsp Butter1/4 cup Cheese (grated)Oil (As reqd)Salt (As reqd) For preparing Greek moussaka with eggplant, first heat oil in a pan and saute onions and ginger.Add minced meat and saute for sometime till water dries up completely.Add some water, required salt and cook the minced meat in low fire covering with a lid.When the meat is cooked, add tomatoes and pepper powder. Saute till dry and mashed. Keep the cooked meat aside.Meanwhile, slice brinjal into thick round pieces and keep in salted water for a few minutes. Drain well the brinjal pieces.Heat sufficient oil in a frying pan and fry the brinjal pieces. Keep the brinjal pieces aside.Heat butter in a pan and prepare white sauce by mixing maida flour and milk.Remove white sauce from fire and beat an egg into it. Add grated cheese and mix well.Now, we are entering the final stage of our preparation of Greek moussaka with eggplant. Arrange fried brinjal and meat alternately in a baking dish.Pour the white sauce over it and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees till the top turn golden brown in color.Greek moussaka with eggplant, a yummy nutritious dish is ready.
