Cuisine North Indian Prep Time 1 hours Servings people MetricUS Imperial Ingredients Paneer - 1/8 cup Khoya(Mawa) - 3/4 cup Soda bi(carb - 1/4 tsp) - Sugar - 1 1/2 cup Saffron - 2 strands Allpurpose flour(Maida) - 2 tbsp Green cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Ghee for deep frying - Cuisine North Indian Prep Time 1 hours Servings people MetricUS Imperial Ingredients Paneer - 1/8 cup Khoya(Mawa) - 3/4 cup Soda bi(carb - 1/4 tsp) - Sugar - 1 1/2 cup Saffron - 2 strands Allpurpose flour(Maida) - 2 tbsp Green cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Ghee for deep frying - Votes: 1 Rating: 4 You: Rate this recipe! Instructions Cook a mixture of 4 cups of water , strands of Saffron and sugar until the syrup thickens. Remove and keep warm. Grate Khoya and paneer and keep aside. Mix Khoya, paneer, soda bi-carb, green cardamom powder and a little water to make it into a soft dough. Make small balls off the dough. Heat ghee and deep fry the balls till golden brown. Drop the balls into the hot syrup. Remove them from the syrup and serve without draining the syrup.
