Garlic

Green chillies

Onion

Vayana/Vazhana leaves
belongs to the family of bay leaf

Grambu
Salt
As reqd

Turmeric powder

Chilly powder

Coriander powder

Garam masala

tsp
Lemon juice
Instructions
For preparing healthy daal, wash the daal and soak it in
water
for 2 hrs.
Fry the ingredients
ginger
,
garlic
,
green chillies
,
onion
, vayana leaves,
cloves
,
salt
,
turmeric powder
, chilly powder, and
coriander powder
.
Add
spinach
to it and cook it in low flame.
Add the soaked daal to it and cook in low flame for 10 mins .
Mix the cooked ingredients well and remove it from flame.
Add
garam masala
and lemon juice before serving.
