250 g Daal (lentils)150 g Spinach (chopped)1 tsp Ginger (chopped)1 tsp Garlic (chopped)3 nos Green chillies (chopped)2 nos Onion (chopped)4 nos Vayana/Vazhana leaves (belongs to the family of bay leaf)4 nos Cloves (Grambu)Salt (As reqd)1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1/4 tsp Chilly powder1/4 tsp Coriander powder1/4 tsp Garam masala2 tsp Lemon juice For preparing healthy daal, wash the daal and soak it in water for 2 hrs. Fry the ingredients ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion, vayana leaves, cloves, salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, and coriander powder. Add spinach to it and cook it in low flame. Add the soaked daal to it and cook in low flame for 10 mins . Mix the cooked ingredients well and remove it from flame.
