  • 1/2 litre Milk
  • 2 nos Khova Type of burfi
  • 1-2 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Uncooked rice roasted and ground
  • Dry fruits grated
  • 2 tbsp Rose water
  • Rose petals To garnish


  • For preparing healthy rice payasam, first boil the milk..
  • Add the ground rice to the boiling milk and stir continuously.
  • Add the remaining ingredients: khova, sugar and rose water to it and mix well till the khova dissolves. Remove from flame.
  • Let it cool and garnish with dry fruits and rose petals.
  • Healthy rice payasam is ready. Serve it hot.
