i am cooking for the time in my life. it was out of necessity . this recipe turns out to be excellent for a beginner. it is so tasty. thank you very much.
Its a very nice kadala curry, very easy to prepare and even better than the varutharacha style curry….and light for stomach as well….thanks guys for this recipe
I am a novice. My wife is away and I had a “kothi” for kadala curry, the type you get in the tea shops. This recipe came out well in spite of the novice cook – thanks..
I is good. I didn`t use turmeric powder when I boil Kadala. I add it with other powders. Also I added crushed garlic and ginger pieces right before I add Onions. It came out really goood. ( I didn`t add garam masala at the end)GREAT WITH PUTTE!!
black chana is my husband`s fav. and i didnt know how to make it. i tried many recipies but something or the other went wrong with them. i tried ur recipie, but i made a few changes here and there. anyway it came out very well.i basically dont like chana but even i ended up eating it. (i didnt add turmeric when i cooked the chana but added it along with the other powders. i also didnt use garam masala). thanks for the recipie.
Very tasty….
tip: after cooking the kadala in the pressure-cooker, smash some of it and then continue the cooking. that way u can make the gravy more tasty and thick…
