Kerala Mutton Olathiyathu Mutton masala 1 kg Mutton1 tsp Pepper (crushed coarsely)2 tsp VinegarSalt (As reqd)Water (As reqd)1/4 cup Oil2 cups Onion (sliced)1 tsp Turmeric powder2 tsp Ginger12 nos Garlic pods4 tsp Pepper (crushed) Mix together meat, coarsely crushed pepper, vinegar, water and salt. Cook till it is nearly done and 2 cups of gravy remains. Strain the stock from the meat.Heat oil in a pan.SautT the onions.Add turmeric powder, ginger and garlic flakes and stir.Add crushed pepper and fry.Stir in the strained liquid and when it boils, add the meat.Let the gravy thicken and the meat pieces get coated with it.
