  • 3 litres Whole Milk
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 250 ml Clarified Butter/Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Cashew nuts broken
  • 1/2 cup Almonds cut into shreds


  • Take the milk into a wide mouthed thick vessel and boil, stirring continuously, until it gets reduced to about one fourth of the original volume.
  • Add sugar and continue boiling and stirring.
  • Fry the dry fruit pieces in ghee and keep aside.
  • As the preparation begins to solidify, add the ghee and go on mixing.
  • Cook until the ghee shows up. Add the dry fruit pieces, mix thoroughly and transfer the pudding into a wide plate.
  • Allow to cool before serving.
