Mini Idli With Curd Small curd idlis For making idlis:300 gm Rice150 gm Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)Salt (As reqd)Oil to grease Idli moulds 1½ glass Water for boiling in cookerFor preparing the curd:2 kg CurdSalt (As reqd)2 tsp Sugar1 tbsp Oil1½ tsp Mustard seeds (small)4 pcs Dry Red chillies (Kollamulaku)8 - Curry leaves1 Fresh coconut (grated)Coriander leaves (A few, finely chopped) Follow the method for preparing the plain idlis.(Pls refer the plain idli recipe) 2)Make plain idlis in a Mini idli stand and keep them aside.Beat curd with sugar and salt.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, followed by the red chillies and curry leaves.Add this seasoning into the beaten curd.Add the grated coconut into the curd and mix well.Finally, slip in the small idlis into the curd mixture.Transfer the contents into a serving bowl.Sprinkle a few coriander leaves. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.:-Makes 250-300 Mini Idlis (of size of Re. 1 coin) Tamil
