Mutton Pulao

Mutton Pulao is a delicious Indian recipe served as a main dish. Mutton Pulao is a great dish to serve on after fasting.

  • Chop the onion, tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  • In a pan heat the oil and ghee and temper the cardamom, cinnamom, clove, aniseed and bay leaves.
  • Add onion and green chilli and saute it till the onion turns into brown.
  • Add tomato and saute it for 2 mins.
  • Add coriander leaves and mint leaves and mix it.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and mix well and allow to boil until the raw smell goes out.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and coriander powder, lime juice and mix well.
  • Add mutton and mix well and allow to boil for 15 mins in medium flame.
  • After 15 mins, add required water to boil the mutton and close the lid and allow to boil until the mutton gets boiled.
  • Boil the basmati rice separately.
  • Once the mutton gets cooked and masala becomes of thick consistency, add boiled rice and mix well
  • Tasty Mutton Pulao is ready, serve with raitha and salna.
