  • 250 ml Milk
  • 2 nos Green cardamom crushed, Elakka
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1-2 tbsp Almonds chopped
  • 2 tbsp Pista chopped


  • For preparing phirini, heat milk in a pan till it comes to a boil and then reduce the flame and stir continuously.
  • Add the rice flour while stirring the milk to prevent lumps.
  • Add sugar and stir continuously till it begins to thicken.
  • Add chopped almonds and pista.
  • Transfer the mixture into serving bowls and garnish with dry fruits and crushed cardamom.
  • Refrigerate it for 3 hours.
  • Phirini is ready. Serve chilled.
