Vadas made with prawns

Ingredients
- Prawns(skinned and deveined, medium sized) - 1/2 kg
- Green chillies - 5 nos
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic pods - 2 nos
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil for frying -

Instructions
- Clean prawns thoroughly.
- Mix with all the other ingredients and grind coarsely on grinding stone or mixie (preferably grinding stone to get the proper consistency).
- Make small balls off this mixture.
- Flatten it a little like vadai and deep fry in oil.
- When cooked, take out from oil when it is golden brown in color and slightly crisp.
- :- This is a good side dish with rice or as an evening snacks.

how come the receipe comes with no use of any type of flour. i m puzzled!
