Prawns Stir Fried With Snow Peas

  • Prawns – 200 gms (clean and de veined), clean and de
  • 1 inch Ginger julienne
  • 4 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 2 nos Bird’s eye chilly finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • Sesame oil for cooking
  • Snow Peas trimmed
  • 1 tbsp Sherry to which 1 tsp sugar is added
  • Salt to taste


  • Marinate the prawns in Sherry and sugar mixture for 30 minutes. : - this makes the prawns crisp while frying.
  • Heat oil in a wok till smoking. Add garlic, ginger and chillies and stir fry quickly.
  • Add the prawns and stir fry till the pink colour changes to opaque.
  • Stir in Snow Peas and cook till crisp and tender.
  • Add soya sauce and check for seasoning.
  • :- Prawns Stir Fried with Snow Peas is ready!!! :- Serve the Prawns Stir Fried with Snow Peas with steamed rice!!!
