Instructions
- Remove the outer leaf of the red cabbage. Discard this.
- Wash the red cabbage, cut it in half and cut out the white stem. Discard this.
- Chop the red cabbage into strips and keep aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped onions.
- Sauté the onions till they turn light brown in color.
- Enter Step
- Add minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes more.
- Add cut cabbage and toss the ingredients till mixed well together.
- Cook uncovered for approximately 10 minutes or till the cabbage is cooked.
- This salad can be served as a side with chicken roast, meat or mashed potatoes.
