  • Prawn – 500g(de veined, washed and drained), de
  • 2 tbsp Onion chopped
  • 2 nos Egg beaten
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly paste
  • 2 tsp Ginger powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp Celery chopped
  • 3 tbsp Parsley chopped
  • 2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 2 nos Potato cut into cubes
  • 1 no Carrots cut into cubes
  • 2 nos Beans slice
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 no Lime


  • For preparing baked prawn/jhinga, first boil the prawns in salt water for 6-7 minutes. Drain the prawns and set aside.
  • Mix all the ingredients to the prawn : onion, beaten egg, chilly paste, ginger powder, garlic powder, chopped celery, parsley, pepper and required salt.
  • Transfer the contents including vegetables to a oil smeared microwave safe dish. Add lime juice.
  • Roast in medium heat for 30 minutes. 4)Easy to prepare as well as nutritious roast prawn/jhinga is ready. Serve hot.
