  • 500 g Chicken cut into medium sized pieces
  • Ginger Little, chopped
  • Ghee As reqd for frying
  • 1 no Tomato chopped
  • Coriander leaves Few, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Tomato sauce

For marinade:


  • For preparing saucy chicken fry, first prepare a paste of the ingredients for marinade: chilly powder, coriander, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, lime juice and required salt.
  • Apply the marinade on the washed and drained chicken pieces. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Heat ghee in a frying pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces to a golden brown color.
  • Remove the fried chicken pieces from the pan and keep aside.
  • In the remaining ghee, fry chopped ginger.
  • Add chopped tomato and saute till tomato is mashed well.
  • Stir in fried chicken pieces, coriander leaves and tomato sauce. Saute in low flame for a few minutes.
  • Saucy chicken fry, a yummy mouth watering recipe, is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
