Ingredients
- Sooyi(a type of spinach) - 1 bunch(finely sliced) -
- Onion(sliced) - 2 nos
- Chickpeas - 2 cups
- Green chillies(chopped) - 4 nos
- Ginger(chopped) - 1 piece
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Curry leaves(As reqd) -
- Oil(To fry) -

Instructions
- For preparing sooyi-chappu vada, soak the chickpeas in water for 5 hours.
- Grind it finely to make a smooth paste.
- Knead together all the ingredients onion, sooyi chappu, green chillies, ginger, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt, curry leaves with the chickpeas paste.
- Make small balls out of the dough and press it lightly.
- Fry these vadas in oil.
