  • 1 no Tomato cubed
  • 1/2 kg Chicken cubes
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Ajwain Ayamodakam
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black salt
  • 1/2 tsp Kasuri methi
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Mustard oil
  • 1 no Capsicum cubed
  • 1 no Onion cubed


  • For preparing special chicken tikka, first mix together all the ingredients: garlic paste, ginger paste, curd, ajwain, lemon juice, chilly powder, black salt, kasuri methi, salt and mustard oil.
  • Marinate the chicken in this paste and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  • Insert the chicken and vegetables in a skewer and cook it in an electric grill or in an oven.
  • Apply butter on intervals.
  • Serve hot. Special chicken tikka is ready.
