  • 150 g Prawns uncooked, medium sized
  • 1/2 cup Chicken stock
  • 1 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard ground
  • pepper powder As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Oyster sauce
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing spicy garlic prawn, first heat butter in a saucepan and add minced garlic.
  • Stir in maida and mix well to combine. Remove pan from fire.
  • Gradually add chicken stock and mix well.
  • Return the saucepan back to low heat and stir till sauce starts to boil and thicken.
  • Stir in ground mustard, pepper and required salt.
  • Add prawns and cook for 5 minutes in low heat until prawns are done.Add oyster sauce. Take care that the sauce is not too thick.
  • Spicy garlic prawn, a tasty, yummy prawns recipe is ready. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot.
