50 g All purpose flour (Maida)4 nos Eggs (separated)125 g Castor sugar1 no Vanilla pod15 g Melted butter50 g Corn flour50 g Flaked almondsSalt (A pinch) For preparing tasty sponge cake, preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius.Grease a tin and dust it with flour.Cover the base of the tin with flaked almonds.Whip the egg yolks with 110 grams of sugar and inside of the vanilla pod.Mix in the butter, maida and corn flour. Whip it well. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt and beat it till stiff.Add in the rest of the sugar and beat well.Fold the egg whites slowly into the yolk mixture.Put the mixture into the tin and bake it for 30 minutes.Leave it out on a rack to cool, turn it over and cut it.Tasty sponge cake is ready.
