Usually I only prepare non-veg biriyani's.Yesterday I went to a marriage function and had a very tasy vegetable dhum biriyani,it was mouthwatering and superb.Then this weekend I have prepared that biriyani in my home and I wish to share that recipe with has 3 stages first we have to make the rice them vegetable masala and finally the dhum process.

  • Cut the veggies like shown in the photo.
  • cook the all the ingredients except onion,ginger garlic paste,capsicum,tomato and cauliflower with turmeric powder,red chilly powder and salt as required.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste,then add chopped onion and saute for 5-6 minutes.
  • Then add capsicum,tomato and cauliflower.cover and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
  • Add cooked veggies and mix well.
  • Add all powdered masalas and mix well.cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves,mix well and remove from the flame.
  • Arrange the rice and masala in a vessel.cover the top and cook for 10 minutes in very low flame.
  • Tasty Veg dhum biriyani is ready
